


EDII Jakarta – EDI Indonesia explores the potential for cooperation with Intraco (Bangladesh) Ltd in the implementation of the National Single Window in Bangladesh. The exploration of this collaboration is a follow-up to the meeting held by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) / IPC with Intraco (Bangladesh) Ltd which was then outlined in the signing of the Joint Agreement (MoU) some time ago.
Director of Intraco (Bangladesh) Ltd. M. Obaidur Rahman, accompanied by representatives from IPC during his visit to the EDII headquarters, Jakarta, Indonesia (19/9), discussed several things including the development of a National Single Window in Bangladesh that was integrated and in accordance with international standards. “The National Single Window Program is very important to update information related to the flow of goods in order to facilitate export-import activities in a country,” said M. Obaidur Rahman.
National Single Window (NSW) is a nationally integrated electronic information system, which can be accessed through the Internet, the NSW system can integrate information relating to the process of handling customs documents and other documents related to export-import, which ensures data and information security and integrating information flow and process between internal systems automatically, which includes customs, licensing, port / airport systems, and other systems related to service processes and supervision of export-import activities.
